Accounting Technician specification
- Maintain up-to-date billing system
- Follow up on, collect and allocate payments
- Carry out billing, collection and reporting activities according tospecific deadlines
- Perform account reconciliations
- Administering payroll
- Bimonthly VAT Returns
- CSO Returns on line as required
- Liaise with ROS
- Updating Daily banking /Payments /Receipts Files
- Posting to General Ledger
- Other Accounting Dept. Ad hoc Duties as required
- Liaising with managerial staff, colleagues and customers
- Sage experience and experience working with Microsoft Office Suite required.

Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Executive / Sales Representative for an established National Packaging Manufacturer reporting directly to the Head of National Accounts and Company Directors. The primary purpose of this role is to deliver the budgeted new business annual sales and margin targets in the UK market.
Specifically, you will be tasked with working alongside targets for of an annual Growth Plan which will summarise your approach to new business development.
The appointee will have experience and knowledge of selling to Pharmaceutical, Med Device or similar markets in the UK.

To be successful in this position, you must possess strong sales capabilities whilst also understanding the granular dynamics of the industry. You will possess excellent communications and analytical skills and an ability to motivate in a performance culture.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
Responsible for consistent delivery of new business sales.
Demonstrate the ability to design and implement an effective sales plan, adapting and modifying as necessary to this dynamic marketplace.
Responsible for building effective relationships with key customers and stakeholders both internally and externally.
Proactively embody and promote a culture of opportunity, equality and diversity
Advocate and drive consistent use of all available system tools
Support and champion change including business improvement projects beyond immediate role responsibilities.
Provide the senior management team with regular reports including sales funnel, as agreed, and continuous informal market intelligence as it relates to the company.
Education & Experience
5 years’ experience in a senior sales management position with existing market knowledge and access
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Must maintain a valid driver’s license with a driving record that meets Company minimum standards
Key Abilities and Skills Required
Sales hunter: self-starter with significant new business development, negotiation and deal construction experience
Strong leadership skills and an ability to lead, coach, support and inspire a wider team
Skilled in the areas of consultative selling, marketing principles, prospecting, networking, coaching and negotiations
Developed interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
A strategic thinker who can analyse market, category and financial data to identify key trends and recommend creative solutions
In support of our ‘Customer first’ model, work effectively across all departments to remove obstacles and service our customers flawlessly
